Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library is an innovative collaboration of the City of San Jose and San Jose State University. It is a venue where people can learn, improve lives and pursue dreams. At the time of its construction, it was known as the largest library west of the Mississippi. A feast for the mind as well as the eyes, the King Library boasts a collection of roughly 1.5 million items as well as delightful public art installations on every floor.
