Known for his passionate piano-driven songs, Tim Moos’ music is frequently compared to Damien rice, David Gray, and occasionally old-school rock ballads like Guns and Roses and Lynyrd Skynyrd. “My music is very emotional because I am emotional. I feel love, and I write about love. I feel fear and I write about fear,. There are no secrets and no pretense in my music. I want people to recognize themselves in it. “ This theme is most evident in such aching melodies as Breaking and Standing Here. The seductive quality of Tim’s music is it’s polarity – an almost idealistic reverence toward love and romance contrasted with a strain that is decidedly hedonistic. In Lie to Me he sings about a one night stand, yet the lyrics betray a certain affection that draws the listener in.
