Horses have had an enormous impact on the development of San Mateo County from the early 1800s when vaqueros worked with horses on ranchos to modern day horse racing at Bay Meadows. The exhibit features 20 miniature saddles by local artist Reg Buyle and will be shown at the lower rotunda and hallways.
