Explore the Wit and Whimsy of Mel Chin’s Recolecciones. Where in one place can you see a revolving secret door, a low-rider table complete with hydraulic lifts, or a set of tables shaped like the seven continents? These and more comprise 30+ individual public art installations placed throughout the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library designed to pay homage to the Library’s collections. These artworks are designed to provoke your interest and curiosity, encouraging exploration and circulation throughout the library.

Sign up at the Welcome Desk at the center of the ground floor. Or pick up a copy of the collection brochure the next time you are in and take a self-guided tour. You can also book a general group tour for 10-60 people.
