South First Fridays is an eclectic evening of arts and culture in downtown San Jose's SoFA District every First Friday of the month. Many venues host their opening receptions on First Fridays with special programming and live music. Participating art venues include Anno Domini, MACLA, San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, Space47, Works, KALEID gallery and Phantom Galleries.

On this evening, Anno Domini hosts its last Street Market of the season. Also, MACLA celebrates 20 years in San Jose with a 20th Anniversary Launch Party featuring a special outdoor event in SoFA.
