Performing since 1965, he has deep roots in the classic blues of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James and Sonny Boy Williamson; The lyricism of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Shawn Colvin; And the swagger and showmanship of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Al Green.
