Amanda Giles is a native California singer/songwriter who has been performing in the Bay Area since the early nineties. Her music combines the influences of her childhood—gospel, country, and classical—with adult influences that range from Tom Petty to Prince. Her biggest songwriting hero is Lyle Lovett, and echoes of his style can be heard in her songs. Vocally, she has been compared to Lucinda Williams and Taylor Swift. Joined by outstanding local musicians, Amanda’s bluesy gospel tunes and soulful vocal performance bring an authentic and powerful vibe to the stage.
