There are three great stimulants for the brain... Music, laughter, and sex. We're bringing two of the three (you guess which two) to Santa Clara for The Strings Of Comedy Tour's first Northern California appearance! It's one thing to have great music artists. And another to have great comedic talents. We go a step further and bring you both in one giant gut-busting package. Performing will be: Chris Valenti If you’ve ever been frustrated by a relationship and you have a somewhat twisted, but healthy sense of humor, then Chris Valenti is the artist for you. Chris takes his romantic failures and frustrations personally and pours them out to you straight from his wry, twisted heart. Dave Burleigh Dave has honed his skills as a master impressionist and possesses an arsenal of spot-on celebrity impersonations. His ability to incorporate this lost art form into his act guarantees the audience will be left wanting more. And now he's adding music to his prodigious comedy skills! Phil Johnson Phil Johnson isn't angry. Even when he's crooning horrible thoughts about an ex-girlfriend or calling out your co-workers for what they really are, it's done with warmth and a knowing glance that it's all in good fun. He's neither an insider, nor an outsider, but the guy standing in the doorway watching both groups and laughing at everyone's foibles, including his own. Peter Apel Peter Apel's songs cheer you up while offering keen but subtle observations of people and life. While Peter's music may be "kids music", it's screamingly funny when played for adults. Apel, a Bay Area dad and magician, says inspiration for most of the songs comes from family time, while playing the guitar and singing with nieces and nephews and his two young children at home.
