Whiskey Hill is a funky soul group of musicians from California. Formed in 2000, the band has performed hundreds of shows all over the Bay Area, Southern California, Las Vegas and Arizona. Whiskey Hill plays original music, as well as paying tribute to some of the greats of soul, funk, and blues music such as Muddy Waters, Sly Stone, the Meters, Stevie Wonder, et al. Whiskey Hill’s full, funky sound (complete with horn section) gets people off their feet and dancing all night long, Over the years, they have also included an extensive entourage of Bay Area talent in their acts, including Will Magid (trumpet), Adam Kurihara (keys/vocals/drums/bass), Ben Altieri (drums), Kevin Wong (keys/sax), Nate Mercereau (guitar), Chris Matheos (bass), John Jordan (guitar/vocals), Brad Sweitzer (guitar/vocals), and more.
