John Batdorf's uniquely passionate vocals and guitar playing landed him his first major record deal back in the 70's. When you listen to John sing songs about things that really matter to him, you'll understand why they mean so much to his fans that have spanned three decades. After the breakup with Rodney, John did an album with a group called Silver and toured the country promoting their album at venues with the likes of America, Doobie Brothers, Poco and Hall and Oats.
Megan Slankard’s music has also been featured on KFOG's annual compilation CD, she has been featured in Rockgrl Magazine, Owl Magazine, The Synthesis, Fresh Tracks and Women In Rock, in addition to Acoustic Guitar magazine – whose editors named Freaky Little Story one of their top albums of 2005. Slankard also co-wrote and performed on the title track of Dire Straits founding member David Knopfler's new record, Ship of Dreams. Megan Slankard has sold nearly 20,000 copies of her three CDs. She self-produced her first CD at age eighteen, produced her third with help from Counting Crow's guitarist Dan Vickrey.
