    Five years ago, Brian Joseph walked away from a burgeoning acting career, and hasn't looked back. With a soulful voice and a great repertoire of urban folk originals, Joseph mixes folk and blues with lyrical jazz-flavored guitar stylings and an intuitive ear for pop melody. On stage, this Telluride Troubador competition winner's direct, easygoing manner and talent for extemporaneous songwriting create a homey, welcoming atmosphere. The TrueWind Music Concert Series began in 2004 as a twice a month series at the Espresso Garden & Cafe. With the venue's closing in April 2006, we're "gone private," and are now hosting a House Concert Series. Seating capacity is 40 at our house concerts. The money that we collect is passed directly to the artists. We provide a comfortable listening environment, dessert and coffee. The address is provided once a paid commitment is made to the concert. With limited seating, we believe this is only fair to the artists.
