An incredible line up of songwriters is coming to the Esspresso Cafe! Steve Seskin is one of the most successful writers in Nashville today, with a boatload of songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Neal McCoy, John Michael Montgomery, Kenny Chesney, Collin Raye, Peter Frampton, Waylon Jennings, Alabama, Mark Wills, and Peter Paul and Mary. Five years ago, Brian Joseph walked precariously away from a burgeoning acting career, and hasn¹t looked back. Resembling a young Tom Waits in his goatee and pork pie hat, blessed with "a soulfully warm voice with just the right degree of husky catch and tremble" and tagged as a folk flavoured troubadour with comparisons that range from John Prine to Paul Simon and Randy Newman, he¹s now up to his third album and has clearly attracted some impressive admirers. Kenny Edwards was a founding member of The Stone Poneys with Linda Ronstadt. After a time with the band Bryndle (with Karla Bonoff, Andrew Gold & Wendy Waldman), he returned to work with Linda Ronstadt on her ground-breaking album, Heart Like A Wheel. He subsequently spent many years with her as a sideman, singer, arranger and touring band member. Edwards also became a noted producer and was responsible for masterminding Karla Bonoff's hit albums.
