Some treasures take years to show themselves. Mike Simpson’s voice and masterful instrumental style has floated through Bay Area venues for many years. His songs of sorrow and love have touched and healed the hearts of his fans, who have eagerly awaited his debut CD release. Mike is a master of alternate tunings and a connoisseur of fine guitars. His delicate finger style complements a smooth tenor voice that can melt steel. We just call him the velvet bear.
